Welcome to the New Hampshire Council of Teachers of English. As an affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English, we are dedicated to meeting the needs of English teachers. Our website, newsletters, workshops, conferences and other events provide English teachers with opportunities to connect with other professionals as they explore the meaning and real-world application of the NCTE's standards and enrich their practice.

NHCTE members are student teachers, new teachers, experienced teachers, retired teachers and teacher administrators who are passionate about teaching English, committed to the pursuit of best practice and energized by opportunites to share their passion with like-minded colleagues.
