Welcome

Welcome to NHCTE

  • Connecting, supporting, and empowering NH teachers across all grade levels.

NHCTE is your connection to literacy teachers across all grade levels. With members at the forefront of current trends in teaching and literacy, we provide invaluable resources for both students and teachers alike. As an affiliate of both the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and the New England Associate of Teachers of English (NEATE), we are dedicated to meeting the needs of NH literacy teachers. NHCTE members are student teachers, new teachers, experienced teachers, retired teachers and teacher administrators who are passionate about teaching English, committed to the pursuit of best practice and energized by opportunities to share their passion with like-minded colleagues. Our website, newsletters, workshops, conferences and other events provide teachers with opportunities to connect with other professionals as they explore the meaning and real-world application of the NCTE’s standards and enrich their practice. Explore becoming a member today and see how dedicated we are to meeting the needs of NH literacy teachers. For the most up-to-date information about our organization, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
